Head curtain side-impact air bags

These inflatable head curtain side impact air bags deploy in the event of a crash with significant side-impact force. They are designed to help reduce the risk of head and neck injuries to the front and rear passengers sitting in the seats closest to the side of the cabin involved in certain side-impact collisions.¹

¹ Always use safety belts and the correct child restraints. Children are safer when properly secured in a rear seat in the appropriate child restraint. See the Owner’s Manual for more information.
