    The coverage has been extended on all 2007 passenger cars and light-duty trucks. The Powertrain Limited Warranty is now 100,000 miles or 5 years (whichever comes first). There are no deductibles for repairs and the warranty is fully transferable at no charge. The Roadside Assistance and Courtesy Transportation programs have also been extended to 100,000 miles or 5 years (whichever comes first).     GMC has a Roadside Assistance program to aid owners with emergency and other services *. It is a complimentary service that comes with each new GMC vehicle. Services provided include:

    • Towing to the closest GMC dealer (from a legal roadway)
    • Flat tire change (using vehicle’s spare)

  • Q. How long is my vehicle covered by Roadside Assistance?

    Roadside Assistance coverage follows the GM 5 year/100,000 mile (whichever comes first) powertrain warranty on 2007 model year vehicles. For model years prior to 2007, your vehicle is provided Roadside Assistance for the term that matches its bumper-to-bumper warranty. Please refer to the owner’s manual for the specific warranty on your vehicle.

  • Q. ARE THERE ANY COSTS TO ME FOR USING ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE?

    There is generally no charge for any of the services listed while the vehicle is covered by the complimentary Roadside Assistance service. However, additional charges may be incurred for some services, including towing the vehicle beyond the closet GMC dealer; for non-warranty parts and labor; or for lost key replacement.   • Q. WHAT IS THE DIFERENCE BETWEEN ALL-WHEEL DRIVE AND 4-WHEEL DRIVE?

    A vehicle equipped with All-wheel drive temporarily transfers power to all four driving wheels automatically when the need is sensed by the vehicle. A vehicle equipped with 4-wheel drive can transfer power from 2 wheels to all 4 wheels upon driver demand, usually by pushing a button or turning a switch. This type is also known as a 4x4.

  • Q. WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN CURB WEIGHT AND GROSS VEHICLE WEIGHT?

    Curb Weight is the weight of an empty vehicle (without payload or driver) with standard equipment, fuel, coolant, and oil. It is also known as the vehicle weight. Gross Vehicle Weight is the actual weight of the entire vehicle and its contents, including fuel and occupants.

  • Q. WHAT IS THE GROSS VEHICLE WEIGHT RATING (GVWR)?

    GVWR, when properly equipped, includes weight of vehicle, passengers, cargo, and equipment. Exceeding this weight is not recommended.

  • Q. WHAT IS PAYLOAD?

    Payload is the maximum allowable weight of cargo to be carried in a vehicle, including occupants. It is computed by subtracting curb weight from GVWR.
