GMC NAMED “MOST REFINED BRAND” AS PART OF KELLEY BLUE BOOK’S 2017 BRAND IMAGE AWARDS

The GMC commitment to precision continues to pay off – and it continues to gain recognition, as evidenced by our fourth consecutive brand image award from Kelley Blue Book.

The difference is in the details. Maybe it’s the machined exterior trim elements, or the way the lenses within a headlamp are precisely sculpted and formed. Perhaps it’s the rich, upscale, and authentic materials found within the interior, or the way fabrics, trim materials, and accents all neatly combine to form a rich, inviting environment.

In any case, the attention to refinement and detail found in each and every GMC goes a long way in helping every truck, SUV, and crossover we build stand apart from the crowd. Those very details are also why GMC was just named “Most Refined Brand” from Kelley Blue Book’s Brand Image Awards for the fourth consecutive year.

Kelley Blue Book’s 2017 Brand Image Awards are based on consumer automotive perception data from Kelley Blue Book Strategic Insights’ Brand Watch™ study. Brand Watch is an online brand and model perception tracking study tapping into in-market new-vehicle shoppers annually on Kelley Blue Book’s KBB.com. The study offers insight into how shoppers perceive important factors driving their purchase decisions, and captures brand/model familiarity and loyalty among new-car shoppers.

GMC’s commitment to carefully refining its design and craftsmanship is readily apparent across its entire portfolio, ranging from the dramatically-rethought, all-new 2018 Terrain, to the capable-yet-refined GMC Sierra Denali HD.

“GMC’s ‘Professional Grade’ ideology has struck a resonant chord with consumers, and that’s reflected in car buyers visiting Kelley Blue Book’s website, KBB.com, naming GMC 2017’s ‘Most Refined Brand,’” says Jack Nerad, executive editorial director for Kelley Blue Book. “The extra attention to design and detail found across GMC’s lineup has clearly resonated with American consumers.”

While refinement and design are evident in every GMC manufactured, both qualities reach new heights in the Denali line of vehicles. With over a million Denali vehicles since the nameplate launched in 1998, the Denali line continues to resonate with customers seeking the ultimate in appointments and distinctive style.
