GMC UNVEILS 2016 SIERRA DENALI ULTIMATE
The pinnacle of professional-grade pickup trucks.
The 2016 Sierra Denali sets the standard for premium-grade trucks with a refined interior, high level of comfort and advanced connectivity. The 2016 Sierra Denali Ultimate builds upon those traits to raise the Sierra Denali to an even higher level.
Available exclusively as a four-wheel drive 1500 crew-cab model, the Sierra Denali Ultimate adds to the Denali’s distinguished appearance with several unique touches.
Chrome-plated tow hooks and 22-inch aluminum wheels (with chrome or black inserts) are standard, and help accentuate the exterior, which also includes a new Denali-exclusive grille, high-performance LED headlamps with GMC LED signature lighting accents, and LED taillamps.
New Tri-Mode Power Steps are also standard on the Sierra Denali Ultimate. The steps automatically extend from underneath the truck to provide convenient access to the cab, and can also move rearward to provide access to the front of the bed.
Inside, the Sierra Denali Ultimate provides driver and passengers alike with premium appointments and advanced technologies. Soft-touch materials, authentic burnished aluminum trim, perforated Nuance leather-appointed seating surfaces, and contrast stitching emphasize the crafted nature of the Denali’s interior. A Bose premium sound system is standard equipment, as is a new remote locking tailgate, wireless phone charging1 and triple door seals.
Sierra Denali Ultimate’s high-tech interior features an eight-inch diagonal Customizable Driver Display, which can show relevant gauges, settings, audio and navigation information within the gauge cluster. Sierra Denali Ultimate also includes GMC’s IntelliLink2 infotainment system with navigation3 as standard equipment, which also incorporates an eight-inch diagonal color touch screen and Apple CarPlay compatibility4. Android Auto compatibility5 will be available later in the model year.
Additionally, Sierra Denali Ultimate offers OnStar 4G LTE connectivity6, which provides an in-car data connection and Wi-Fi hotspot for up to seven devices. The available OnStar RemoteLink app7 for smartphones also provides further connectivity, including diagnostics and remote lock and start functionality.
The Denali Ultimate package is available with either the standard 355-horsepower, 5.3-liter EcoTec3 V-8, or the available 6.2-liter EcoTec3 V-8, which is rated at 420 horsepower and 420 pound-feet. Both engines are paired with a smooth shifting eight-speed automatic transmission.
Look for the Sierra Denali Ultimate to go on sale at GMC dealers nationwide in the first quarter of 2016.
