    The Savana Passenger Van — GMC Full-Size Passenger Van Models

    The Savana passenger van is an excellent example of advanced engineering dedicated to safety and performance. It is designed to be the safest full-size passenger van ever produced by GM, with a range of safety features you'd expect in modern passenger vehicles, including available head curtain side air bags‡ and the StabiliTrak vehicle stability enhancement system. Savana 1500 passenger vans are also available with a Vortec 5.3L V8 FlexFuel engine, able to operate on a blend of gasoline and ethanol called E85. And Savana 1500 passenger vans feature an available AWD (all-wheel-drive) system, the first of its kind in a full-size passenger van.‡‡
