The GMC Sierra 3500HD 2WD and 4x4 trucks are offered with several V8 engines, including the powerful Duramax diesel. Properly equipped, Sierra 3500HD pickup trucks can tow up to 16,500 lbs or haul an incredible 5,309 lbs payload,‡ depending upon chosen equipment and whether a 2WD or 4WD truck is required.
