When it comes to managing your busy life, versatility is key. Fortunately, the GMC Acadia is a very flexible SUV. With seating for up to seven passengers and an adaptable cargo area, Acadia delivers the capacity you need, along with the style and refinement you expect of a GMC. Learn more about how you can leverage Acadia for your own pursuits in the interactive video below.

CARGO CAPACITY
Whether you plan on hitting the road for a weekend ski trip or want to bring home some supplies for a DIY project, Acadia’s interior allows you to select the right mixture of seating and cargo space. The 50/50 split third row seat can provide room for up to two passengers and a little extra cargo space. Fold both the third- and second-row seats, and you’re provided with up to 79 cu. ft. of cargo space, along with a flat load surface.

POWER PROGRAMMABLE LIFT GATE

Loading luggage or other belongings into Acadia’s cargo area is simple, thanks to its available Power Programmable Lift Gate. With the push of a button – or, on Acadia Denali, even the kick of a foot beneath the rear bumper – the Power Programmable Liftgate can open on its own.

If you’re concerned about clearance in your garage, don’t worry – simply rotate the interior switch dial from “MAX” to “3/4,” and the liftgate will only open to three-quarters of its full range of travel – perfect for avoiding low ceilings, garage door openers, or other obstacles.

NEED MORE STORAGE?
GMC’s line of available accessories for the Acadia allow it to safely carry additional gear – including your sport equipment. For instance, the available Roof-Mounted Wintersport Carrier by Thule® leverages Acadia’s available roof rack rails and can safely and securely carry both skis and snowboards.
