GMC PRO SAFETY

The Terrain small SUV's excellent technology and safety features help you to stay connected, informed and aware of surrounding vehicles as you confidently navigate the open road. The GMC Pro Safety^† package offers six features. The Terrain Pro Safety Plus^† is available on the SLE, SLT and AT4 models and includes all the features of GMC Pro Safety package along with Adaptive Cruise Control, Rear Park Assist and Safety Alert Seat. Lane Change with Side Blind Zone Alert^† and Rear Traffic Alert are available as separate options on the SLE, SLT and AT4.

Safety or driver-assistance features are no substitute for the driver’s responsibility to operate the vehicle in a safe manner. The driver should remain attentive to traffic, surroundings and road conditions at all times. Visibility, weather and road conditions may affect feature performance. Read the vehicle Owner’s Manual for more important feature limitations and information.

In addition to the six features above, the Denali’s standard GMC Pro Safety Plus^† package offers three extra advanced safety technologies. Rear Park Assist, Lane Change Alert with Side Blind Zone Alert and Rear Cross Traffic Alert are available on SLE, SLT and AT4 as separate options.

LANE CHANGE ALERT WITH SIDE BLIND ZONE ALERT

This feature can provide side-mirror visual alerts when a detected moving vehicle is quickly approaching or is in your side blind zone. It can help you avoid lane-change collisions. Available on SLE, SLT and AT4 with the available Terrain Pro Safety Plus package.

REAR CROSS TRAFFIC ALERT

This feature can warn you of detected left or right cross traffic behind your vehicle when you’re in Reverse.

REAR PARK ASSIST

This feature provides distance alerts to nearby detected objects behind your vehicle to help you park and avoid collisions at low speeds. Rear Park Assist is available on SLE, SLT and AT4. Rear Park Assist is standard on Denali.
