AVAILABLE DYNAMIC FUEL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

Standard on the 5.3L EcoTec® V8 and 6.2L V8 gas engines, the Dynamic Fuel Management system enables the engine to adjust the number of cylinders its using, to optimize power delivery and efficiency depending on demand.  

10-SPEED AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION

10-Speed Automatic Transmission features closer gear spacing that allows the engine to operate in an optimal range at all times with varying load and terrain conditions. Electronically controlled with overdrive and tow/haul mode. Includes Cruise Grade Braking and Powertrain Grade Braking.

Available on the 5.3L EcoTec®3 V8 engine on 4WD models and included with the 6.2L EcoTec3 V8 engine or Duramax® 3.0L Turbo-Diesel Inline-Six (I6) engine.

TRACTION SELECT SYSTEM

Traction Select System adjusts Sierra Limited’s transmission shift points, throttle mapping and StabiliTrak® to optimize performance for the situation. The available modes in the Traction Select System are:
