SEE HOW FAR WE’VE COME IN 100 YEARS. FEATURING THE ALL-NEW 2017 GMC ACADIA.
In 1916, 100 years ago this summer, a husband and wife team crossed the United States from Seattle to New York and back in a GMC. Spanning an astounding 9,500 miles over 27 weeks, this double transcontinental crossing was a world's first feat in a motor vehicle. Building on that legendary capability and ground-breaking spirit, we've come a long way since. Both with our truck’s, SUV’s and crossovers, and as a nation. To see just how far, we're commemorating the event with a road trip of our own-following the original journey-in the next generation all-new 2017 Acadia.
