A lot has changed in 100 years.

We stopped along our route today in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho to recreate one of the original photos from the 1916 journey to show just how far we’ve come.

But one thing that hasn’t changed is the Garnet Back Country Byway, a 12-mile stretch through picturesque western Montana that climbs over 2,000 feet into the evergreen forest of the Garnet Mountain Range.

Back then, Mr. and Mrs. Warwick crossed it in their two-wheel drive GMC truck with wooden wheels. Today, we conquered it with ease in the all-new 2017 Acadia All Terrain.

Join us as we shift the Acadia All Terrain Traction Mode Selector Knob over to Off-Road and see what this country, and this vehicle is made of.
