If you have ever wanted a more natural way to get help while you drive, Gemini is designed to bring that experience to the road. For vehicles equipped with Google built-in*, Gemini is coming as an upgrade to Google Assistant*, giving drivers a more conversational way to get things done behind the wheel. Users who are signed into their Google Account with Google built-in can opt in to upgrade from Google Assistant to Gemini.

 

Instead of relying on short, one-off commands, Gemini is built to understand natural conversation. That means you can ask follow-up questions, adjust your request and keep moving through a task without starting over.
