Do I still need to pay attention while using Super Cruise?

Yes — you must always stay attentive while using Super Cruise.* Drivers should be ready to steer or brake at any time.

 

Super Cruise uses a Driver Attention System camera to monitor head and eye position and help ensure the driver remains focused on the road. If reduced attention is detected, the steering-wheel light bar flashes green to prompt the driver to refocus. If the driver does not respond, the light bar will flash red, a voice prompt will sound, and the vehicle may slow to a stop, activate hazard lights, and contact OnStar®* Emergency Services.*
