When it comes to EV charging on the road, GMC provides a seamless experience by helping you locate chargers and offering mobile app features that guide you through the process. Here are some tips that’ll help you charge your EV like a pro:

HOW TO LOCATE PUBLIC EV CHARGING STATIONS

GM EV drivers have access to over 250,000  public chargers including 21,500+ Tesla* Supercharger locations across North America. The available myGMC mobile app* or available Google built-in* compatibility can help you find nearby charging stations.

ARE THERE FEES FOR PUBLIC EV CHARGING STATIONS?

The fees for a public charging station depend on the operator of the station. They may bill by charging time or kWh used. Free public charging stations can be found at some grocery stores, workplaces and other facilities.

You can use the myGMC mobile app* to plan your route and find charging stations along the way, check your vehicle’s charging status, pay directly with click-to-charge or plug-and-charge at select charge station operators, monitor your current range and more.

STEP 1

Download the myGMC mobile app to find available charging stations.

STEP 2

Within myGMC mobile app, click on a charger to see payment information. If you haven’t already, make sure to sign up for public charging and add a payment method in the app. If you’re not using an app, see the charging provider’s website for details on how to pay or if payment is required.

STEP 3

Simply plug in the station’s charger and let the vehicle charge up.

STEP 4

Disconnect, and return the charging cable to the station and get going.
