Q&As

What happens if the vehicle is in remote start, heated seats are on and then the ignition is turned on?

If Automatic Heated, Cooled or Ventilated Seats are enabled, the seat transitions from its remote-start setting to the ignition-on seat setting. Since conditions for both features vary, the seat's comfort setting might change. If the Heated, Ventilated or Cooled Seats do not have the available automatic functionality, the seats will remain off.

What happens if the vehicle is not in remote start and the ignition is turned on?

If Automatic Heated, Cooled or Ventilated Seats are equipped and enabled, the seats will be triggered based on the automatic heated and cooled seats’ ignition-on seat level.

If the passenger seat is empty, will it still automatically heat or ventilate?

No. Even if they are enabled, Automatic Heated, Cooled or Ventilated Seats won’t activate on the passenger side unless the passenger seat is occupied. You can manually adjust unoccupied passenger seats.
