GMC AT4 SUVS ADD OFF-ROAD MUSCLE TO ANY SNOW DAY

SHARE:

For many outdoor enthusiasts, snowfall doesn’t mean staying indoors, but is an invitation to have fun in wide open spaces.

Whether it’s exploring snow-covered trails or taking off on a long-awaited ski trip, winter is just another season filled with adventure. And with GMC’s full line of AT4 SUVs (Terrain AT4 available early 2022), drivers can find the right combination of off-road capability without compromising a premium ride experience.

So if you’re looking to leave the pavement behind this winter, or you just want a seriously capable SUV that offers plenty of comfort and space for passengers and gear, GMC has what you’re looking for.

TERRAIN AT4

The First Ever 2022 Terrain AT4 (Preproduction models shown throughout. Actual production models may vary. Available early 2022.) packs plenty of muscle and versatility in a small SUV that is rugged in all the right places.

The standard Traction Select System will help give added confidence when driving in inclement weather or going off-road. Drivers can switch between standard AWD, FWD and Off Road mode on the fly, allowing them to select a setting that best suits current road conditions.

Meanwhile, the standard Hill Descent Control leverages anti-lock braking technology to help provide a smooth, controlled descent without the driver needing to repeatedly push the brake pedal when driving on uneven surfaces or trails.

The engineering excellence of Terrain AT4 is matched by its bold exterior with a unique AT4 grille and badging, black chrome exterior accents and finish, and gloss-black roof rails. There are also a front steel skid plate to help protect underbody components and Goodyear® Sport Terrain tires.

On the inside of Terrain AT4 is the ideal blend of flexibility and premium comfort with a leather-wrapped heated steering wheel and perforated leather-appointed front seats. Its appearance is elevated further by the Mojave accent stitching, double needle stitching on the back bolsters and AT4 badging embroidered in the head restraints.

The interior offers plenty of utility too. The left rear seat, or full back row, and front passenger seat can be folded down for additional room, accommodating objects up to 8 feet long. So there’s space to pack gear for the latest journey into the great outdoors.

ACADIA AT4

A striking midsize SUV with impressive capability to blaze new trails — that’s the 2022 Acadia AT4.

Equipped with a 3.6 V6 engine and 9-speed automatic transmission for 310 hp and 271 lb.-ft. of torque, the Acadia AT4 offers the powerful performance expected of a GMC. The Active Torque Control AWD System heightens off-road capability by automatically delivering torque to the wheel that needs it the most for optimum traction. And when activated, Hill Descent Control uses antilock braking to help provide a smooth and controlled descent in rough terrain. Hill Start Assist, meanwhile, helps hold the brakes under certain conditions while the driver shifts their foot from the brake pedal to the accelerator, helping prevent movement during the transition.

The ruggedness of Acadia AT4 includes a unique exterior design that is sure to turn heads out on the trails or streets. Its distinctive look includes all-terrain tires wrapping 17-inch gloss black wheels, unique black grille, black-capped exterior mirrors and gloss-black roof rails.

The inside features standard black premium cloth or available black perforated leather-appointed seating with exclusive trim and Kalahari accents. Signature AT4 badging is stitched in the head restraints and the AT4 logo is embossed on the sill plates. The spacious cabin also provides plenty of room for 6 to 7 people, so everyone can come along for the journey. The Smart Slide second-row seats provide easy third-row access. And the third-row 50/50 split seats can fold flat for additional cargo storage.

YUKON AT4

When you’re fueled for first-class adventure, the 2022 Yukon AT4 and Yukon XL AT4 offer genuine off-road capability with premium styling and comfort.

To start, the 2022 model year Yukon AT4 is now available with the 6.2 V8 engine. This highly capable powertrain offers 420 hp and 460 lb.-ft. of torque. It’s paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission, so drivers not only get plenty of strength but smooth power delivery too.

But it’s not just the brawn that makes the Yukon AT4 a ruggedly adventurous SUV. There are plenty of available smart innovations to help with the task of pulling winter toys out to the trails. The available ProGrade Trailering System  helps bring ease to the hitching and trailering process and includes Hitch Guidance with Hitch View, the in-vehicle trailering app and Trailer Side Blind Zone Alert.

And because snowfall or other inclement weather conditions can make driving a challenge, Yukon AT4 has available technologies to help power forward. The available Active Response 4WD system can help drivers maneuver confidently in slick on- or off-road conditions by seamlessly sending optimal torque to each wheel to improve traction. If the forecast calls for heavy snowfall, the available Air Ride Adaptive Suspension can raise the vehicle up to 2 inches for improved ground clearance. This added ride height can be of great use when the going gets rough on snowy trails.

Topping off this rugged SUV is an exterior design that illustrates just how off-road ready this Yukon is. The AT4-specific front includes a skid plate and horizontal red recovery hooks. The 20-inch six-spoke machined aluminum wheels with Carbon Gray Metallic accents are wrapped by Goodyear® All-Terrain tires.

The athletic Jet Black interior, meanwhile, features heated and ventilated driver and front-passenger perforated leather seating surfaces with AT4 badging embroidered on the head restraints, AT4-exclusive Brandy accents and brushed aluminum details. The available panoramic sunroof will give expansive views. It features dual panes and tilt sliding with express-open and -close, and a power sunshade.

WILD WINTER ADVENTURE

With GMC’s full line of AT4 SUVs, adventure in the snow is always on the go.

The exceptional capability, striking exteriors and premium interiors of the Terrain AT4, Acadia AT4, Yukon AT4 and Yukon XL AT4 are the perfect way to answer the call for adventure.
