1 of 2

FRONT PEDESTRIAN AND BICYCLIST BRAKING

At speeds between 5 and 50 mph, this can help you avoid or reduce the severity of a collision with a pedestrian or bicyclist it detects directly in front of you. It provides alerts and can automatically provide hard emergency braking or enhance your hard braking. It has limited nighttime and low visibility performance.

2 of 2

BLIND ZONE STEERING ASSIST

Can alert you and provide a brief, firm turn of the steering wheel when a potential crash is detected with a moving vehicle in the lane you’re entering.

Safety or driver assistance features are no substitute for the driver’s responsibility to operate the vehicle in a safe manner. The driver should remain attentive to traffic, surroundings and road conditions at all times. Visibility, weather and road conditions may affect feature performance. You or other drivers can also connect a personal compatible Android smartphone to access features such as Google Maps* and more with Android Auto* compatibility.

Other vehicles with compatible radios can also recognize your profile. The Premium GMC Infotainment System* in Acadia allows you to create admin and guest profiles, which allow access to the accounts assigned to currently active profiles. Here’s how to set up your infotainment profile and preferences.

How many USB-A/USB-C ports does Acadia have and where are they located?

The 2025 and 2026 Acadia includes six total USB ports.* The first row includes USB Type-A and USB Type-C charge and data ports located below the touchscreen. The third row includes two USB Type-C charging-only ports located above the outboard seat cupholders.

Which Acadia trims include a Head-Up Display (HUD) or digital cluster?

An 8" diagonal configurable Head-Up Display,* which projects key information directly onto your windshield, is an available feature on the 2025 and 2026 Acadia Elevation and AT4 trims, and a standard feature on the Denali and Denali Ultimate trims.

How does Acadia’s all-wheel drive (AWD) system work in snow and ice?

The GMC Acadia allows drivers to activate or deactivate the available all-wheel drive system depending on weather situations or needs. When activated, the AWD system sends power to the front and rear wheels to help optimize traction on snow-covered roads.

Which Acadia drive modes are best for winter conditions?

Available all-wheel drive (AWD) mode on Acadia is best for winter conditions because it sends torque to the front and rear wheels to help optimize traction and control on slippery road surfaces, including snow and ice.

For Acadia models that do not have AWD, the best mode for winter conditions is the Snow/Ice drive mode. Snow/Ice mode helps improve acceleration on snow-covered roads. When active, Snow/Ice mode adjusts pedal tuning to help optimize traction on slippery surfaces.

Do I need winter tires on an all-wheel drive (AWD) Acadia?

While all-wheel drive helps optimize traction and control on slippery road surfaces, including snow and ice, you should consider winter/snow tires* for your Acadia if:

  • You live in regions with heavy snow, ice and consistently cold winters
  • You want even better traction for snow and ice
  • You want to optimize your braking performance in cold conditions
  • You don’t mind storing and switching to all-season or summer tires* when needed

You can learn more about winter/snow tires in our guide to different types of GMC tires.

What is the ground clearance on Acadia?

For the 2025 and 2026 model years, Acadia Elevation has a ground clearance of 6.7". Acadia AT4 has a ground clearance of 7.7". Acadia Denali and Denali Ultimate have ground clearances of 7.3".

How does Acadia’s traction control/stability control help on icy roads?

The Traction Control System (TCS) and StabiliTrak®/Electronic Stability Control (ESC) system on Acadia help limit wheel spin and assist you in maintaining control, especially on slippery road conditions.

The Traction Control System activates if any of the drive wheels are spinning and beginning to lose traction. If this happens, the traction system reduces power and applies the brakes to limit wheel spin.

The StabiliTrak/Electronic Stability Control system activates when the vehicle senses a difference between the intended path and the direction the vehicle is actually traveling. The stability control system selectively applies braking pressure to any one of the vehicle wheel brakes to assist you in keeping the vehicle on the intended path.

Which trims include heated seats, heated steering wheel and heated mirrors?

Heated driver and front passenger seats, heated steering wheel and heated power outside mirrors with integrated turn signal indicators are standard across all 2025 and 2026 Acadia trims — Elevation, AT4, Denali and Denali Ultimate.

The heated power outside driver-side mirror on Denali and Denali Ultimate is auto-dimming.

Heated and ventilated driver and front passenger seats are available on AT4 and standard on Denali and Denali Ultimate.

Does the Acadia have Remote Start?

Yes. Remote Start* is standard across all 2025 and 2026 Acadia trims — Elevation, AT4, Denali and Denali Ultimate.
