GMC Tire & Wheel Protection is available at the time of vehicle purchase and provides for the repair or replacement of your GMC’s tires and wheels.

TIRE & WHEEL PROTECTION PLUS

Tire & Wheel Protection Plus* can cover the costs associated with minor repair of cosmetic damage, in addition to the coverage of the standard Tire & Wheel Protection.

OTHER BUILT-IN BENEFITS

COVERED ROAD HAZARDS

Hazards encountered while driving on a publicly or privately maintained roadway, including, but not limited to, nails, glass, potholes, rocks, wood debris, metal parts, plastic or composite scraps.  

 

Road hazards NOT covered: 

Objects or conditions within a designated construction zone or construction site, such as uneven lanes due to repaving or metal plates temporarily covering a hole in the road.

TOWING SERVICE

Towing expenses will be reimbursed up to $100 per occurrence for damages caused by a covered road hazard.

TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM

The plan will cover replacement costs for the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) if damaged by a covered road hazard.

EXCLUSIONS

Normal wear and tear

Structural damage not caused by a covered road hazard

Tires with less than 3/32" of tread depth

Dry rot

Racing tires

Cosmetic damage (unless Tire & Wheel Protection Plus is purchased)
