GAP Coverage Protection from GMC

GAP COVERAGE

GAP Coverage gives you confidence when you purchase or lease a new GMC vehicle. If you have an accident and your vehicle is considered a total loss, most standard insurance policies will only compensate you for the current value of your vehicle, not for what is owed or for the deductible. GAP Coverage can help cover the gap. See the GAP Addendum for coverage limitations.

Coverage to get you back on the road.

How You’re Covered

GUARANTEED AUTOMOBILE PROTECTION (GAP)
GAP Coverage can waive the deficiency amount between your GMC’s unpaid finance balance and the settlement amount offered by your insurer for a total loss.

COVERED FROM THE START
GAP Coverage is only available at the time of vehicle purchase or lease.

FLEXIBLE
GAP Coverage is available for your new, used, or leased GMC.

FINANCIAL PEACE OF MIND
GAP Coverage is available for finance amounts up to $125,000. GAP Coverage can waive your financial loss up to $75,000, which can include up to $1,000 of your insurer’s physical damage deductible.

GET COVERED FOR LONGER
GAP Coverage is available for your new, used, or leased GMC. Choose the term that is right for you. We offer terms of 0 to 60 months, 61 to 72 months, and 73 to 84 months. Ask your dealer for details.

PROTECT YOUR INTERESTS
Optional GAP Coverage helps protect you against owing money on a GMC you can no longer drive.

CANCELLATION
GAP Coverage can be canceled at any time. Your coverage is fully refundable within 60 days, as long as no loss has occurred. For cancellations after 60 days, a pro rata refund will be given, less any applicable cancellation fee. All refunds will be made to the financial institution/lender.
