HOW TO SCHEDULE/MANAGE SERVICE VISITS WITH THE MYGMC APP

SHARE:

Regular service and maintenance are important to keeping your GMC truck or SUV operating at peak performance levels.

However, life can sometimes get in the way of making that important appointment for an oil change or tire rotation. That’s why the myGMC Mobile App can help you schedule or manage your service visits.

Here’s how to schedule a service appointment:

  • First, download the myGMC Mobile App to your compatible mobile device. The app can be found at the App Store for Apple devices or on Google Play for Android devices. You can also download the myGMC app by texting “myGMC” to the number 56000.
  • Then open the app and look for the wrench icon to select VEHICLE SERVICE.
  • Select REQUEST APPOINTMENT at the top of your screen.
  • A notification will appear asking if you would like to use your profile information to make scheduling easier.
  • Next, tap a location to select Schedule Service from a participating dealer.
  • Once the correct information has been entered, select CONTINUE.
  • Now you’ll be able to see available service specials or select from a list of needs for your GMC vehicle.
  • Tap CONTINUE to see more scheduling options, such as choosing a preferred service advisor or setting a specific appointment time and date.
  • For additional convenience, enter any special transportation needs that you require and select CONTINUE.
  • Finally, review your appointment to ensure everything is correct. If no changes are necessary, select SUBMIT APPOINTMENT.
Once an appointment is made and your vehicle is in for service, the myGMC Mobile App allows you to check your current visit status and when service to your vehicle is complete.

To see for yourself how easy it is, check out the myGMC Mobile App experience to explore this and other features. You can also find more information about the myGMC Mobile App on the OnStar® page.
